So this guest room in a Miami condo was already a great space. But 2020 changed life for everyone and what was really needed in this space was a creative home office, to work from home.
So here is what I came up with. New, brighter lighting to see what you are doing, but also super interesting with this neon rope chandelier. The addition of 2 desks for multiple workspaces. A local street artist provided the painting. Also the addition of a daybed that COULD provide a sleeping space for a guest. Or just for quick catnap while working.
Clearly this guy was mostly interested in the nap! And we are absolutely obsessed with this citron velvet quilt to cozy it up.
Tried to add a little glam style with accessories. Decided on a deep agean blue to the accent wall for drama. A modern art inspired rug to warm it up. But the bottom line is, having to do work, but at the same time seeing that view! Makes work life a little easier.
